100 Years of Model T
July 23, 2008 by Wheels & Revs
Henry Ford famously remarked,
Any customer can have a car painted any colour that he wants so long as it is black
It is exactly 100 years today since Ford sold its first car Model T. This car may have been critisized a lot, but still it is a car which revolutionized the automotive sector!
What do you think of the Model T and other American cars?

American cars suck.
Ford GT Mustang is an exception!
Well I dint know Ford’s been existing for a century now!
Mustang GT… the american mustangs. more precisely, American free-roaming feral horse.
commonly addressed as the American Muscle Car..
500 bhp of raw power stuffed with all its worth.
U must hav imagined how Maximus nd Achilles fearllessly tamed nd commanded their horses.
The fear shown in Xander Cage’s eyes are evident as he knows he’s gonna have a hard time pacifying all the 500 bloddy almighty Mustangs…….
Well FORD’s offering its best power house ever to all de speed thrill craving daredevils.
And yes raunak… the FORD still exists !!

Model T… aah … the american NANO (TATA) born in the year 1908. They say it was the most affordable american automobile on wheels. Ford’s brilliance n inovative thoughts were thouoghtful enough to keep the eployees and the customers happy.
While TATA enjoys being the proud owners of the CAR of the 21st Century, Model T had it share 100 years before.
Google it and you will read what Henry Ford said of the vehicle:
I will build a car for the great multitude. It will be large enough for the family, but small enough for the individual to run and care for. It will be constructed of the best materials, by the best men to be hired, after the simplest designs that modern engineering can devise. But it will be low in price that no man making a good salary will be unable to own one-and enjoy with his family the blessing of hours of pleasure in God’s great open spaces.
and Mahesh ..American Cars aint that bad
for Example… we have General Motors under which we have Cadillac which started setting standards more than 100 years back. Along came Chevrolet taking shape in early 20’s, The one n only Hummer, Pontiac G8.
the great Chrysler LLC group under which we have De venemous roadsters of VIPER and JEEP being the oldest off-road vehicle (also sport utility vehicle - SUV) brand, with Land Rover coming in a close second.
This info might be of some use to you. I hope I was of some help
